Automatic Route Setting (ARS)

The Project

ARS is a highly versatile subsystem of DeltaRail's Integrated Electronic Control Centre (IECC®). The advanced decision-making strategies in ARS ensure that optimal routing decisions can be made automatically, even under disrupted conditions.

DeltaRail has now installed ARS at 12 signalling centres throughout the UK, including the Edinburgh Waverley re-control project.

ARS has been demonstrated under simulation as being compatible with ERTMS and work is continuing to further develop this capability.
