Derby based DeltaRail Group Limited has been presented with a Certificate of Accreditation in respect of their Institution of Mechanical Engineers Monitored Professional Development Scheme.
Lara Mallett Regional Manager of IMechE presented DeltaRail's Managing Director of Engineering, Graham Scott with a certificate of accreditation at their Pride Park headquarters.
The programme involves graduates being monitored through a minimum four year training scheme, during which they will work on several themed placements including Design, Operating Depots, Project Management and problem solving. Graham Scott said:
'DeltaRail is built on a foundation of well trained, dedicated, engineering professionals. Derby has many talented young people and we are committed to helping their development through a quality training programme. This certificate of accreditation underlines that commitment.'
Lara Mallett added:
'Students who do their placements at DeltaRail benefit greatly from having motivated, well trained mentors, and from good senior management support. With this kind of training we can continue to produce the confident and highly able engineers that we need.'
