Mark Aldridge
Chairman
Mark has extensive experience with private equity investments, including chairing Deloro Stellite, Aktrion Group and Recruitment Solutions Group. Prior to that he was Group Chief Executive of Blick plc, a main board director of Hays plc, Chief Executive of Initial Contract Services and Managing Director of Biffa Holdings Ltd.
Anna Matthews
Chief Executive Officer
Anna joined DeltaRail in January 2007 after a 13 year career with Invensys PLC in a variety of senior roles.
As Managing Director of APV Baker, a manufacturer of machines and process systems to make food products, she led a turnaround strategy prior to Invensys selling the business in March 2006. The business had a team of 450 people based in the UK and USA.
From 2002 - 2005 Anna was Managing Director of IMServ, a data management company in the utilities sector and operator of the electricity industry trading and transmission systems (BETTA).
Between 2000 and 2002 she was Vice President IT & Development, Invensys Energy Solutions, a division of Invensys specialising in energy management and data solutions.
John Fawcett
Group Sales and Marketing Director
John joined DeltaRail in April 2007 to deliver the Company's plans for substantial growth. He leads DeltaRail's Sales and Marketing team.
John has extensive experience in achieving new business success over the last 15 years at Telent plc, most recently managing the company's key customers in the telecommunications sector.
Sheena Hendrie
Group Human Resources Director
Sheena, a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, was appointed HR Director in May 2002 and is responsible for HR, Quality, Safety and Environment.
Sheena has over 20 years experience of HR management, initially with UKAEA and more recently with a range of AEA Technology businesses. Her experience includes the delivery of business restructuring and change programmes, acquisition and divestment activities, as well as the full range of operational HR services.
Phil Holden
Director, Business Transformation
Phil joined DeltaRail in November 2005. He has been with AEAT since before its privatisation in 1996 and had previously been Managing Director of four different business units providing engineering services, consultancy and manufactured products. Before that he held a variety of posts in operational management, marketing and sales, major account management and commercial functions.
Dirk LeClercq
International Managing Director
Dirk joined DeltaRail in 2003 as MD for the European Operations, after a 25 year career in various transport, engineering and communication industries. He held posts as Vice President Engineering and Maintenance with a large Airline, and Senior VP Operations with a Telecom Company.
He holds degrees in Law, Economics and Engineering and a Masters degree in Business and Management from the Delft Graduate School of Business.
Graham Scott
Group Development Director
Graham has been involved in a series of senior roles in Marketing & Sales, Strategic Business Development and management of DeltaRail's Products business.
Graham joined British Railways Research & Development Division in 1980 after studying Mathematics at the University of Oxford. Following several years working in railway engineering, he qualified as a Chartered Mechanical Engineer specialising in non-linear dynamics working in crashworthiness, wheel-rail interaction, pantograph overhead line interaction and railway vehicle dynamics.
Sue Simmons
Group Finance Director
Sue joined DeltaRail in October 2007. She has worked in the food manufacturing, publishing, and latterly travel industries. Prior to joining DeltaRail she was the Chief Finance Officer at the specialist holiday company Travelsphere. Sue is a Chartered Accountant with a degree in Business Administration.
Richard Waterman
Operations Director
Richard has over 30 years experience in the signalling and railway operations field, including 19 years at British Rail Research. He has played an integral part in the development of world leading command and control systems, including Automatic Route Setting, Solid State Interlocking, IECC® and other safety related products. Richard has a degree in Electronics Engineering, gained at the University of Southampton.
Jon Zieve
Group Business Development Director
Jon joined DeltaRail in April 2007 from British Nuclear Group which he joined as Business Development Director in 2004. He established a business development unit as BNFL moved from being an asset owner to a managing contractor.
Prior to this Jon held a number of senior business development roles at executive and board levels in a range of capital intensive as well as service companies. These included BAA, London Electricity, Building and Property Group (Now Interserve PLC), and Amey.
Joining Amey in 1998 he was part of the senior team that transformed the company from a construction company to a support services company, leading to its reclassification on the stock exchange.
Jon was one of the earlier players in PFI/PPP arena, having successfully led teams to win significant projects. Amongst these were the Channel Tunnel rail link and the Docklands Light Railway Extension.
