AEAT Launches New VAMPIREŽ PRO Release
AEA Technology Rail has launched a new commercial version of VAMPIREŽ PRO.
VAMPIREŽ PRO has all the advantages of the Pro Pack licence and provides a fully interactive version of VAMPIREŽ. This professional version of VAMPIREŽ brings all the VAMPIREŽ programs together into one coherent, intuitive front end.
VAMPIREŽ PRO includes an interactive vehicle builder which supports parts libraries and sub-assemblies.
The Animator Pro module has been enhanced to include CAD import facilities, dynamic wheel force arrows, milepost markers and lineside structures. The animator has also been rolled out to animate modes output from the eigenvalue analysis program and static analysis animations.
VAMPIREŽ PRO will also offer a new wheel/rail profile suite with improved wheel rail profile manipulation, contact data calculations and contact data plotting facilities.
A new in line creep law is also being developed for VAMPIREŽ PRO allowing users to undertake much more detailed analysis of wheel rail interactions where rail profiles and contact properties are varying significantly along the track.
