Formal Certification of Rolling Stock and Infrastructure

Introduction
DeltaRail Notified Body Ltd (NOBO), a wholly owned subsidiary of DeltaRail, has been an accredited Notified Body since 2002.  Only a limited number of respected engineering organisations throughout Europe have been awarded with this official status.

The Notified Body accreditation permits DeltaRail to assess new builds or upgrades to rolling stock or infrastructure for conformity against the interoperability requirements and to issue formal certification.  Wherever new build or upgrade work is planned, a Notified Body has to be employed to carry out assessments for conformity prior to introduction to service.

DeltaRail NOBO is accredited to undertake assessments against all four categories, namely Rolling Stock, Infrastructure, Energy and Command/Control/Signalling.
